Tucked away in the centre of Cartagena old town there are evidence of how things are done to make it all interesting. These steps don't really go anywhere but they are very pretty.
Just around the corner these look like the
banyan trees we last saw in Key West. Ficus Monumentales is the official name in these parts and monumental is the right word. They are in the Plaza San Fransisco.
Art is encourages and whilst as in all cities there is graffiti, some of it can be truly considered art.
A pond on the edge of Parque Maestranza de Artilleria. The sun was out it was 21C so we stopped for a drink to just sit and enjoy watching the world go by.
