Our first real day out.. We decided to drive to the piece of land on the other side of the Mar Menor. We can see it from our house so tought we'd get a closer look.
La Manga is very much the main tourist part of the region; it is a 21km long strip of land that has an endless string of hotels and apartments, bars and shops.
Currently however with the lockdown it is near deserted and was an easy drive. Saw a sign to a marina and Lynda loves a good boat. Tomás Maestre is a very big marina containing a massive range of boats from small dinghies to large sailing yachts and semi rigid lauches to million pound "gin palaces".
Lynda wants a boat!
