We did a bit of a mini tour of Murcia city centre. Starting with a walk along the Paseo del Malecon, tucked away between the motorway and the main road into town, it is a lovely area"loads of trees and flowers, nice looking restaurant which we shall revisit.
As you walk towards the old town you can see the Pasarela del Malecon bridge which is a curved suspension footbridge over Murica Rio (river).
Then we crossed into the old town to see the amazing Murcia Cathedral and it great to see all the locals enjoying lunch in the sun, just a shame we couldn´t go inside as it is still closed under the Covid regulation, not could we find a table, maybe try during the week.
Other sights included the amazing dome in the tiny church in the Palacio Espicopal and the Plaza de la Glorieta.
